Abstract The increasing global demand for hydrocarbon has brought new challenges in the petroleum reservoir's drilling process. Non-biodegradable chemical additives are used fluid and it leads to endangering environment personnel safety. Thus, there is a great need biodegradable that can protect personal safety while done well. This study with help of microbial analysis investigates effects situ bacteria degenerate gasoline inside oil-based mud, returned lubricant from one oil wells next Hawizeh Marshes. Four types mud were observed. According high growth degradation crude oil, strain was selected. Determination coagulase clumping test shows isolated belongs staphylococcus. We investigate performance staphylococcus bacterium on biological aspects, using gas chromatography technique.
